Default Auction Question

First of all, is there a forum to post a general question about the Guru auctions? All I see are the buy, sell, services, etc forums.

Now, my question. Are you allowed to add a reserve to an item after someone has already bid on it? Yesterday I bid on an item. The min bid was 1,000 gp and there were no bids. I bid 5,000 gp because I really wanted the skin and I saw the new minimum bid was 5,001. Today I looked at the auction and I see I am still the only bidder but the minimum bid is now 5,100. I also now see there is a reserve on the item which I'm 99.99999999% sure wasn't there yesterday when I placed my bid. Can you add a reserve after someone has bid? Also, since I'm now under the reserve, I'm going to look for the item elsewhere. Can the seller now remove the reserve before the auction ends and force me to buy it?

Thanks.

It should say whether or not the reserve has or has not been met, yet. Even if you have met the bid, you can always step it up from your last one, meaning that you'll need to re-enter a bid, meaning that there wil be a minimum bid.

When I placed my bid, it didn't say anything about a reserve being met or not being met. Now, today, it says the reserve was not met. I was wondering if the seller added the reserve after he saw my bid and figured since I was already overpaying, he could possibly get more out of me by adding a reserve over my bid.

An auction seller is unable to edit an auction after a bid has been submitted. In your case, the auction always had a reserve price. On the same note, the seller will not be able to remove/change the reserve price once a bid has been submitted.
